Everything… AND the kitchen sink.

So maybe I am a touch delusional about the prices of house “stuffs” but  have you got any idea just how expensive sinks are?

Just crazy!

We wanted an undermount sink, which might sound wanky, but I promise they look great. Prices ranged from $900-$1500 and I was fast reconcidering if this was a ‘need’ or a ‘want’.

But then… I went to my happy store- which is actually the Harvey Norman clearance outlet in Dandenong and hoorah! I scored a double undermount  sink with built in strainer for 500 clams! Bargain queen!
Pretty yeh?!

Other bargains we scored from there?

Our washing machine? RRP $1500- we got it for $800. Yuh… Do that math!

Just a happy customer plug- non sponsored – If you want anything appliance related- from TV’s to washing machines, to refrigerators and ovens, they sell stuff at up to 60% off the RRP.
They are located at 1/15 Greens Road, Dandenong- just behind the Harvey Norman store.

Weekends of leisure.

In the lead up to our big move (to the new house) we are pretty much spending every weekend looking at furniture, kitchens, homewares, everything A loathes really….

So it was a real treat to go away to the Mornington Peninsula for a weekend last fortnight.
You might recall our food adventure at the Continental Hotel here, but I never got around to telling you about our adventure filled Sunday!

We had a gorgeous sun filled/wine filled afternoon at Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove. What an amazing location- when I marry my second husband, remind me to have the wedding here! Hehehe!
so wine, sun, friends, you get it… Awesome.

Then we went to Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm  but it was way too busy and hot to go strawberry picking- so instead we opted for sitting on our bottoms in the shade and devouring fresh juicy strawberries dipped in melted chocolate.

Yes. I know we are fatties. But- yummmmm!

With views like this- Mornigton Peninsula put on a good show for us. Perfect weather for a perfect weekend.

A little in love with Mornington.
